Iedere superheld heeft weleens een vakantie nodig, zo ook Superman. Gelukkig staat Krypto the Superdog, zijn trouwe viervoeter, in zo'n geval paraat om de misdaad te stoppen. Ook zijn hond beschikt namelijk over superkrachten, die in grote lijnen overeenkomen met die van Superman zelf. Samen met een vliegende kat genaamd Streaky the Super-Cat trekt Krypto door de stad om de boel op orde te houden en de slechteriken te verslaan. Er ligt namelijk gevaar op de loer: Lex Luthor!
